Managing a dependent's care
Switch into a dependent's context to view their record and book for them.
When you manage a dependent, you act on their record from your own sign-in — there's no separate password to keep.
Switching context
The app lets you switch into a dependent's context. While you're acting for them you can:
- View their full record — timeline, conditions, medications, allergies, vaccinations, files
- Add entries and upload documents
- Log vitals and follow their health trends and growth
- Book, reschedule, and cancel appointments for them
- Manage which doctors have access to their record
Switch back to your own context the same way.
Booking for a dependent
Booking an appointment for a dependent grants the treating doctor access to that dependent's record, on the same terms as booking for yourself — 30-day expiration from the most recent appointment by default, revocable at any time.
Growth tracking
For a child, the Growth charts view plots weight, height, head circumference, and BMI against age with WHO/CDC percentile curves. It appears automatically once the child's date of birth and sex are on their profile.
When the dependent gets their own login
Once they take over their record (see How families work), your direct management access ends. From then on you'd need an access grant from them, like any other person.
